How much is the dry eye assessment?

A full dry eye assessment at Kerry Dry Eye Clinic is €75. Any IRPL Tear-Stim treatment course is quoted separately after your assessment, once we know what your eyes actually need.
What is IRPL Tear-Stim treatment?

IRPL (Intense Regulated Pulsed Light) Tear-Stim is a non-invasive, in-clinic treatment that gently stimulates the Meibomian glands in your eyelids so they produce healthier oils. Most patients complete a course of 3–4 short sessions over about six weeks.
Is the treatment painful?

No. Most patients describe IRPL as a warm, comfortable pulse against the skin around the eyes. Eyes stay closed and shielded throughout, and each session takes around 15 minutes.
Do I need a GP referral to book?

No referral is required. You can book directly through our online booking page or by calling the clinic in Tralee.
How long does an assessment take?
